When Paul wrote 1 Corinthians, he said, “For behold your calling brethren, that not many wise after the flesh, not many wise, not many noble are called.” When Paul said, "not many," he meant there were only a few called. And when one reads about the Ethiopian eunuch, he is looking at one of those few.
