The resurrection of Lazarus has always been one of the most intriguing of the Lord’s miracles. Within the account of this miracle in John 11:1-46, Jesus made the statement, “Take away the stone”. Why did Jesus ask them to remove the stone? Jesus only required them to do what they could. God never does what man can do for himself, but He always does what man can't do.
