Have you thought about how much fake stuff exists now? You can eat fake food (processed junk and imitation meat), have fake sex (pornography), pursue fake relationships (online dating and AI chatbots), receive fake counsel (godless therapy), chase fake achievement (video games and online gambling), lean on fake support systems (niche online communities instead of family, church, etc.), and practice fake religion (feel-good churchianity). You get the point!
It’s no wonder millions are miserable and unhealthy. When people fill their lives with fake things, they deny the pattern God intended and trade His truth for something shallow. Truth is real! In contrast to AI-generated, surface-level content, the Bible and the fellowship of the church is real. The Bible explains the mysteries of life and the purpose found in fearing, worshiping, and loving God (Ecclesiastes 12:13-14; Matthew 4:10; Mark 12:30). Furthermore, real connections — both romantically and with people who share the same spiritual worldview — build self-esteem and a deeper sense of spirituality.
God designed us to experience what’s real. And the more we pursue it, the more He’ll be glorified, the more fulfilled we’ll be, and the more everyone around us will be blessed and uplifted. What’s real gives us purpose and draws us closer to God and to the people who truly care about us.
