Can You Find It in the Bible?

The Spirit-inspired Word of God says, “And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him” (Col. 3:17). In other words, we must have divine authority for all we do. If there is no authority, then we have no right to do it (cf. Matt. 21:23-27). So, can you find authority for your beliefs and practices?

Can you find the church of which you are a member of the Bible, either its name or organization? The Bible knows nothing of the Pentecostal, Baptist, Methodist, Presbyterian, Episcopal, Catholic or Lutheran churches. Neither their names nor their organizations can be found in Scripture. They are without a “thus saith the Lord.”

Why be a part of something that lacks divine authority? Why not be a part of the church you can read about in the Bible — not one established by men? We encourage you to investigate the New Testament to learn about the church established by Jesus Christ (Matt. 16:18). Please feel free to contact us to study this subject further.
