One of the most foolish things a warrior can do is go to battle without first knowing his enemy. Satan has planted many of his best agents among us. We need to expose a few of them.
- Chronic Complainer — He is silent only when the church is idle. When there is great activity and good work, this person always is present to complain.
- Ever Offended — Disagree with him and he will take his toys and go home.
- Avid Advisor — No matter how hard you try or how well you do, he will al- ways tell you how you could have done it better.
- Church Jumper — He is always sure that somewhere is a perfect church where everyone is everything is in complete harmony. If he finds a church like that, let’s hope he does not join it; he might spoil it!
Make sure you’re not part of the devil’s advocates. Churches have enough difficulty spreading the gospel without these individuals, let alone with pews full of them!
