There is much speculation among men about what will happen when Jesus comes again. Some say the righteous dead will be raised, while the wicked remain in the grave for another 1,000 years. However, Jesus said, “Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice and come forth — those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation” (Jn. 5:28-29). One resurrection, in the same hour, with two outcomes: heaven or hell.
Are you ready for that hour? If not, repent and be baptized (Acts 2:38; 22:16). Remember, you will be judged for the deeds done in the body (2 Cor. 5:10).
Does your preacher teach this? Or, does he teach speculations of men? If he does not teach there is one resurrection in the same hour, ask him why. Ask him why he does not agree with the Lord. Contact us for further study.
