When you think of the wilderness wanderings, mostly you think of the sins of Israel, but God’s actions toward the Israelites were holy. In Deuteronomy 8, Moses described life in the wilderness. This chapter is an exhortation to obedience based on God’s mercy and goodness in His dealings with Israel (Exodus 34:5-7).
